  • Palm Zire 21, still a good basic PDA

The Palm Zire was the third Palm OS PDA that Palm put out. It's an electronic replacement for the bulky pencil-and-paper DayTimer, DayRunner and Franklin address book/date books that self-important people lugged around during the 1980s and 1990s. It's got some cool features and functions that are quite useful. However, it is a creature of the technology of the early 2000s. It doesn't have a cell phone built in. It doesn't connect to the Internet directly. It doesn't show pictures or images. Heck, it doesn't even have a backlight, which is its main drawback in my book. It is compact and does many basic jobs. Those basic functions may be enough for many people. I didn't buy one back in 2002-2003 because I didn't want to spend over $200 for a gadget I really didn't need at the time. But in ...

  • Gerber multi tool

Commissioning enginers do carry tool boxes in both hands. You don't concern about tools to take when climbing on the machines or trying to reach some equipment in the narrow space. To open junction box, to fix wire you don't need many. Gerber multi plier tool is sufficient. You have cross screw driver, two flat screw drivers, pliers with cutter - all in one. Regular knife blade, sharp serrated blade, and even file at your service. Reliable and durable. You have convenient can and bottle openers. 3" and 7cm rulers on the handles will help you in case. Very compact when folded, Gerber multi tool is effective at work. Assembled with bolts, tool can be repaired to remain your favorite for long service.

  • A good entry PDA

I like Palm Zier. It is easy to use and it helps to get everything, schedule, to do and contacts, better organized. I specially like the note function, which take the hand-writing, a great way taking a quick note.

  • Bad product

It was not functioning right. Some vital accessories missing. Item was finally returned.
