    Basement dehumidifier serves purpose.

    I bought this 50 pint machine to replace my previous 45 pint dehumidifier made by a business that has since gone out of business. This is for a 950 sq ft basement. This is a taller, heavier machine, but the water compartment is actually smaller and not designed as well to pour out water. (I haven't set it up to drain.) It is pretty quiet, although I can hear it running, and it is running almost constantly to keep the basement at 55% humidity.

    Powerful LG Humidifier

    This humidifier is the most powerful one I have ever owned. It is relatively quiet and certainly performs as stated. I use it in my basement area which is very humid and it does better than I expected.
