Great tutorial-easy to understand.
Carol Doak, is one of the best authors for a beginner paper piecing sewer. Have all her books from the last 20 years, and still can't get enough! This book shows how to make then mix up your blocks to get many different patterns/designs.

What I like about this book is that a 2nd grade student wouldnt have trouble following the steps to acheive perfect results.Too many books have tons of theory and you can get bored or lost or both. You wont want to put this book down. There are also tips in the book as well as color photos. Once you have mastered the simple steps, and it doesnt take long, you will be wanting to design your own blocks. I am so glad I bought this book.
