    Too much trouble for the little help that it is.

    The display is too bright at night even when turned all the way down. I mainly bought it for trips from Ga. to Tampa, I wanted to be able to find all the back road turns at night. This IQ Routes is garbage, I have driven several routes and found the best, but Tom Tom won't even consider that route. It wants to take me 25 miles out of the way to the west because it is one minute shorter, you tell it to reconsider and it takes you 30 miles out of the way to the east. The most direct route straight through it won't consider. And when I find a road on my route to tell it to go via it will take that road then still take me off on a side trip either before or after. I have to spend a half an hour laying out the trip road by road. Then it has no save feature so when I turn around to come back or ...

    Above avg product for price.

    The use has only been used in Florida of the US. The unit is easy to use. Has a good display. I have not had time to investigate all it's features so I do not know how well it works in any other way than 1 address at a time. So far no major problems but it has lost signal (fairly common in my area).

    A great product for a great price.

    We purchased a TomTom because our older GPS required a fairly hefty payment for updating online. Since I can't find my way to the end of the driveway and my husband won't stop and ask for directions EVER, we don't get very far from home without the little voice telling us how to get to our destination. He even argues with the little voice. There is something very typical about gender involved here. This device was priced very well, is easy to operate and updating online is free. The screen is big enough for people 68 years old and small enough to leave dash space for people who care. I can highly recommend this product and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

    The TomTom has great accuracy and speed.

    Tomtom is very easy to connect to the internet and download updates. It is misleading in that the updates are not what I thought they were. I thought the Map updates were free but When I went to the "Home" site I found out I have to pay $22.00 for current maps. I still don't understand what the free updates are. I like the TomTom because it is faster and more accurate than the Garmin.
