    Works fine but doesn’t fit tight in my drill

    I like the battery and it works fine but it has a little play (wiggles) when I have it on my drill. Which I hope doesn’t get worse with wear and tear. It’s also a little bigger than the Makita brand ones but that doesn’t bother me. Overall it seems like good value for the price.

    Waste of Money

    I purchased 2 batteries and I am using them in a light duty residential application. The batteries do not last for the rated 6.0aH under real working conditions. My old MAKITA branded 3.0aH battery pack outlasted these batteries in operational. One battery failed after the 4th recharge cycle and will not take a charge (no the batteries were not left uncharged for an extended period of time; the battery level indicator still indicated 2-bars of charge) and will not take a charge. The second battery is still serviceable but FAR BELOW the rated capacity.

    Replacement generic Makita 18 volt battery

    Fits perfectly in Makita drill. Was told by tool guy at Big Box - where Makita branded battery was $98.00- that only 3 companies manufacture lithium ion rechargeables, and getting a generic battery is the he’d go if he needed one. Shipped when promised, well packed, arrived on day promised.

    6 AH Makita Batteries

    Excellent batteries and a great price. You will wait a long time since they use FedEx Ground which may be slower than walking it from coast to coast. It is nice to have a pair of these in my Makita leaf blower.
