For the Price ... You Can't Beat It.
I got this because I thought my remote for my TV was on the blink. It's not, but I found that this little gem does it all. I can have one remote to take care of 3 different devices. I am using it with a smart TV and it works. Sweet. It was easy to program. You just hold down the device button and punch in the code. The light on the power button stays on to let you know it worked, then goes out, Manual is way easier, that auto. I could not get anything that way. The backlight is nice too. It uses 2 AAA batteries. Great price at $5.59 to the door, when it regularly sales for $10 plus tax.I got this because I thought my remote for my TV was on the blink. The product was easy to program. It was already programed for my Samsung TV. I used the auto programming for my Optimum Cablevision set top box. It has one draw back when using it with the set top box. You don't have a button for a list of shows you have recorded. Using this remote you can't get a list of recorded shows.
