I really like this camera. I've only had 2 digital cameras with this being my second one so I don't have a lot of experience using very many other models but I haven't needed or wanted to. Can say this though, I really liked the larger view screen on the L3 than my previous camera. The only downside I though was it not having the smaller viewer. Outside in sunlight it's hard to see what's on the image screen and having a view finder like the old cameras before digital would solve that. My friend tried it and said he thought the pause after taking a flash indoor picture as a long time, longer than his camera takes. But that doesn't bother me so much. One thing that I missed though was with my first camera when you took a flash picture, it would project an orange light beam first and you could center that before the flash took. If it was dark several of my pictures weren't centered on what I was trying to capture.Read full review
Image quality is OK, but not the best that you can get, but it's a good buy for the price.

I bought this for my mother, who is NOT electronicly inclined. It is very very easy to use, it has alot of features the the more sophisticated and expensive cameras have. Over all for the low price this camera packs alot and is great for your everyday novice camera user. the only complaint i have with it is that there is alittle lag in the shutter. but thats it!
It was my 1st camera ever & very easy to use. I took many beautiful photos with it. I took over 14,000 photos with my 1st one before it died. I bought 2 more from eBay for pocket cams, that I don't mind beating up. Can't beat this camera, for the price!
hey, i like it , works great and compact , nice photos and video for what i need
