Developed to coincide with the release of the DreamWorks Animation feature film of the same name, Monsters vs. Aliens lets gamers take control of five monstrous protagonists as they battle aliens through more than a dozen different levels. Players can scale walls and bash enemies with The Missing Link, a macho half-ape, half-fish creature; swallow enemies and seep through cracks as B.O.B., the sticky blob of gelatinous goo; lift heavy objects and use cars as rollerskates as Ginormica, the 49-foot-11-inch woman; and shoot silk or unleash a paralyzing sonic scream with Insectosaurus, a 350-foot tall grub.<br><br>All four characters use a combination of special skills, environmental objects, and quick time events to battle giant robots working at the behest of the evil Gallaxhar. Action-heavy sequences find gamers traveling through the streets of San Francisco, exploring a top-secret government containment facility, and eventually fighting through Gallaxhar's gigantic mothership. Fun game true to the movie.
Most video games tied to movies are not that good. This game is actually fun to play, the graphics are good and the voice acting is on par with the movie. If your fan of the movie Monsters versus Aliens then you would enjoy this game.

fun kids game
Well me and my five year old daughter went to the movies to see this monster vs aliens and was delighted with it. well when we were shopping at the local store for normal house hold needs my daughter saw the game for a unreasonable price and I told her she would have to wait and we all now how five year olds are when told this. I eventually started looking on here and got it for a great deal more than 70% cheaper than the price and me and my daughter play this almost every weekend. The story is very challenging and the kids can pretty much play this by them self each character bring somthing to this game that make it fun and when i play with her iam the crazy bug sceintist she gets a real kick out of that and we have a real good time i give it a good 5 star cause the game is really ... Great game
Ok I'm a mom w/ 2 boys ages 10 and 6 so the game was not bought for me to play so for my review I must defer to my sons and what they have told me about it. 1) This games was bought after seeing the movie which the entire family loved! 2) It has 25 levels of play according to my youngest 3) The ONLY reason I did not give it an Excellent rating was my sons began playing the game on April 17th and today April the 21st the finished it now keep in mind they only played 30 mins on school days and 2 hours on Saturday and maybe 2 hours on Sunday at the most and keep in mind when they play a game the goal is to get to the end it's NOT to get every point or hidden items on every level so to wrap it up it was fun while it lasted & they will most likley play it off and on all summer so it was worth ...
