The cat tree arrived very quickly and was a good price. The 31.5" height is perfect. However, TAKE NOTE, the measurements on the top bed are not 14.2" x 14.2" as shown in the illustration. This is the main reason I purchased this unit for the large bed for my large cat. The bed measures 12" x 12". I placed this on the bottom and took the bottom piece which is 13-1/2" x 12" and put it on top as the bed to get a mere 1-1/2" extra length for the be. I had to take apart the bedding and resew to fit.

I finally got the tower yesterday which was Sunday. The cats were so glad to see their new Christmas toy. They have played and played on it all night long. The item was just as described, and they LOVE it. Two of the kittens fight for the top spot and one bigger baby goes in the bottom hut to hide and watch after the babies. So glad to get this for my fur babies. LOVE LOVE. 5***** seller.
