Don't know how it works, but it does, and completely silently too! bravo to the makers. I've had ongoing chest problems for the last 24 months and this brilliant contraption helps a lot! I put it on an hour before I go to bed and turn it off when I'm up to save the plug getting too hot. I would recommend this to anyone who has breathing problems such as asthma, has a very faint smell at first that wears off. 5 stars all over for this genius device.

I got it. I plugged it in, and LEDs came on. I left it all day and never noticed any difference. So I looked at it a bit closer and I tried to turn it from Hi to Low, and nothing happened. The Low light did not come on, and so I shone a torch inside and found it is an empty box with no workings or components. Just one big con.

An Ioniser with properly stated specifications is hard to find and this clinched the sale for me. It was also essential for me to be sure the Ozone emissions were within legal limits and this was stated too. The unit is well made and works well.
