Older Oster Blender? Buy these!
These gaskets all fit exactly in the blender bottom. They are the same width and thickness as the older gaskets. Although not In a store bought package they were all very clean, not bent or kinked in any way. They squeak a little when the blender jar is tight enough. Don't know if by design or just a happy accident. Realized just how bad the older gaskets were when I got these. Since they're not white or light colored staining should not be an issue. Cleaning them should also be a breeze since the surface is way more slick than past gaskets that I have used. Was delighted when I first used them and there wasn't any leaking of any kind, worked great. These gaskets all fit exactly in the blender bottom. The ring broke after two uses
Used the first one two times and it broke. I don't understand what the problem is. I thought these would be awesome since they are silicone instead of rubber like the original one. I spun up a smoothie this morning and there was goop all over and when I unscrewed the assembly the silicone ring was torn on one side completely through. Hopefully this is a one off problem and the other two will give me years of use as I would expect.Used the first one two times and it broke. I don't understand what the problem is. I thought these would be awesome since they are silicone instead of rubber like the original one. I spun up a smoothie this morning and there was goop all over and when I unscrewed the assembly the silicone ring was torn on one side completely through. The tell us more is stupid for the rating part of this product. Is it compact? Really? Its a gasket so compact compared to what? Is it easy to operate? Interesting, Hummm...remove old gasket put new gasket in place. Yes, I guess it is easy to operate. Is it easy to clean? Two flat sides with edges and its silicone rubber. I would hope so. The title is good and it describes the item.
I am so pleased with these three new rubber sealing gaskets. I can use my blender again! The original ring with my blender had become worn out and inflexible. It was at a point of being unusable, but now that I have 3 new replacement rings, I won’t have to go out and purchase a new appliance. This has saved me a lot of money.

Blending Again!
The rubber sealing ring for my blender had deteriorated to the point that I didn't want to use the blender. I couldn't find a replacement in stores. Even the manufacturer couldn't help. But I tried Ebay and found just what I wanted at a great price. I have already made two batches of pesto and look forward to more projects in the kitchen.
