This Olympus Infinity series film camera operates on one roll of 35mm film to capture amazing photos. The Olympus Stylus Epic point and shoot camera uses a film format of 2.4 by 3.6 cm. Featuring a focal length of 38mm-80mm, the MJU Olympus Stylus Epic zoom camera, with a 2-foot minimum lens focus distance, gets you closer to the action. The minimum aperture of f8.9 and maximum aperture of f4.5, means you can easily adjust full exposure to take great pictures in both bright and dark environments. The built-in auto flash and red-eye reduction software makes taking portraits of friends and family easier than ever. The Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 80 35mm camera offers the advanced features of Olympus’s larger camera lines, including quartz date and time imprinting and a self-timer. The MJU Olympus Stylus Epic also has a whopping six flash modes, including automatic, red-eye reduction, and night scene. It also has a useful Infinity mode, which sets the focus to let you take sharp shots of distant landscapes and other subjects. Infinity mode allows you to capture all your vacation landscapes easily in one mode. The integrated Confirmation Finder darkens the image in the viewfinder when you release the shutter, allowing you to check that you got your shot even in the bright glare of a sunny day. The camera’s auto color balancing flash detects artificial lighting to trigger the flash. This produces lifelike results, without the washout that can occur when you’re taking photos under fluorescent lighting. After using the camera for one day. It completely broke and will not close or work properly. The film says it’s empty and the lens will not retract. Complete waste of money.

    Just what I needed

    Arrived one day earlier than expected, the scuffs weren't too bad, the front body was in shiny gorgeous condition. The scuffs added character, really. Battery is at full, and the camera works and sounds as it should--putting in fresh film is so easy it's a dream. Thank you!

    A super item from a super seller.

    My old similar camera finally gave up the ghost and would no longer work because the sliding from was cracked somehow. This one is so similar I didn't have to learn how to use it. It is an excellent camera for someone who doesn't want to have to stop a focus to get a good shot. I am not a professional photographer and have no desire to learn to be one so this one fits me perfectly. It fits in the bottom of my small purse quite well and is with me whenever I wish to use it. Great!!

    Digital is nice but my heart belongs to my Olympus 80 SLR

    Digital cameras are fine and do have a purpose in life but my heart belongs to 35mm. I photograph horses primarily and my digital camera is not fast enough to catch a moving horse. I had one of these when they first came and loved it, it has since gone to camera heaven. This is the third Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 80 that I have purchased via eBay recently. My goal is to make sure that I have one as long as I can still buy 35 mm film and have it developed. Long the the 35mm SLR! :)

    People Are Giving 'Em Away, So Get One

    I bought one of these because I have a non-zooming Infinity Stylus that I like, and because of some good writeups by the likes of Matt Denton, etc. about the little Olympuses. Also bought it because, hey, people are giving these away. Be aware: in the battery compartment, there's just a tiny stiff wire that makes the positive connection to the battery, and when my camera came in, the wire wasn't in the right position. Had to jigger with it before the camera sprang to life. Then all was well. It's a 3v battery.

    almost exactly as presented

    everything is almost exactly as presented, though it is more visibly used than the pictures implied (front of the camera is pretty visibly scratched up). it works perfectly and the included battery is very convenient.
