Ok, so this thing is cheap. And it is the second one I bought. The first one worked perfectly until I wiped it down with a damp sponge. Not wet. Damp. When the new one arrived the instructions said DO NOT GET THIS WET. IF WATER GETS ON IT WIPE IT OFF IMMEDIATELY!
For some reason a product designed to work around food is not to get wet!
Water put my first one in the trash. Hopefully you will learn from my "little" mistake.
