    Awesome on bluray! Oprah Winfrey ruins it for me!!!

    Ive see both these special on normal tv and it comes nowhere close to how vivid and clear the colors and images are. I love both life and planet earth but cant stand oprah winfreys narration. if you buy the life series buy its self look for the David Attenborough version.

    Life/Planet Earth Collection

    These two movies (Life & Planet Earth) are amazing blu-rays to own. Definition on the blu-ray is excellent and is very crisp. I've seen these on t.v. and it was already amazing, but once you see it on blu-ray, you really get to see the beauty in the documentary. This movie was absolutely worth the money for nature enthusiasts.

    Life/Planet Earth Collection Blu-ray Disc, 2010

    The DVD box set is just plain SICK!!! The cinematography and the narration by Sir David Attenborough (Planet Earth) and Oprey Winfrey (Life) are appropriate. Both of these documentaries are some of the Discovery Channels' finest work to date.
