Someone posted that this monitor only works with an older Microsoft Operating System. That statement is just absurd, as this is just not the case at all. I have owned more than one of these monitors, and have used them successfully with Windows XP, Windows 7 Professional, and Windows 8.1. The other reviewer probably just expected a much newer monitor at a price of thirty dollars. These monitors are rugged, reliable, and long lasting. Only a professional digital photographer, a digital video editor, a HD (1080p or above) quality film watcher, or a video game addict would need a higher grade of monitor. For your typical student, business person, writer, small business manager, number cruncher, web surfer, you tube, or news watcher, this monitor (like most pre-owned Dell monitors) is a solid value for the money.Read full review
