    Great bike computer

    Tons of data fields and ability to customize data to your specific needs. My favorite feature it the ability to sync with your heart rate zones for training purposes. It is easy to work with your lactate threshold in this manner.

    Great bike computer for any enthusiast

    Modern design and features make it compact and very configurable. It has three screens each with up to 8 display fields, but the only way to configure them is one at a time on the unit. Would have preferred to make changes on the computer and just download the changes. The heart rate monitor is the other main reason I bought this. The HRM enables me to determine and adjust my effort. There is very little information about using the HRM and it did not work well on my body, but it worked great on my friend's. After contacting Garmin a couple of times, I found out the sensor may need to be placed closer to the heart (left) rather than centered on the chest. This solved my problem.

    Garmin Products rock

    I am an avid cyclist and love the garmin edge gps devices. They are very user friendly and accurate. Great bang for the buck and have much more accuract in recording of your activity, light weight and way more streamline than any cell phone could ever offer.

    Good computer

    If all you need are speed, distance, elevation, time, lap, HRM, for your activities records Garmin Edge 500 is the right one. I setup this unit to use up to 3 different bikes. This is the 2nd one I have bc I have more than 3 bikes.
