This camera was in pretty bad shape and I couldn't get it to commute with my pc. I did pull up the former owners pictures and info, tho. I don't want to wipe it out because I'm afraid it'll also wipe out my own flip picts that are old. Overpaid for what I got. These people had a nerve selling it...but they might not have known any better.

Okay sojust recieved mynew flip and immediatly wanted to try it out. I got the flip for twomain reasons...one being that I am in the hospital a lot and wanted me and my son to be ableto send video emails to each other during those times and I also love youtube and really wanted tostart vlogging! So I rush to do my first video and everything about the camera itself is so perfect. The picture is clear, easy to use, tripod that came with it is perfect for the tiny camera and very functional. I do a video thats about 7 minutes and then go to upload it. First thing I notice is my internet connection is through my usb port and so is the camera. It was a bit difficult getting bothin at the same timebutIK got it in. The problem is that the camera blocks my internet signal and shuts my internet down and even if you save the vid to your computer it doesnt do so in a small version like it does for internet uploading and since I dont know how to transfer it myself (reason why I got the all in one camera in the first place!!!LOL) I now I have to wait for another week for usb cable extensions to be mailed to upload my video's. PureDigital needs to include those cables in the set cuzafter foing some research over the past couple of hours and calling their customer support 800 number, I'm not the only person whohas ran into this problem...they actually have their own flip usb cables sold seperately for like $16 and from what I hear, they are way to tight so I found some cheaper ones and hopefully in a few days I'll be back in business!LOL So no complaints about the camera but wish the extensions were included like the tv cables-tripod-soft case-and wrist strap! They wouldn't have designed their own cables if they knew people wouldn't need them so why sell them seperately...$$$!Read full review
As a mother of two kids I can always use a good video camera to capture those great moments wether its a milestone, school awards/programs, at home playing around, or out and about, and who wants to carry around a large camera all the time? This camera is perfect for my needs, its as small as a cell phone so it can be carried in a pocket, purse or diaper bag. It has great picture quality for it's size and pricing. The built in usb is a great feature because you're not having to search for a cord when you're in a hurry to get your videos on your computer! The time on the battery is excellent and lasts a good while. I've had it for 5 days so far and the battery is still almost completely full! However, there are a few things that I wish it did include such as a light for dimmer lit rooms and when it's dark. If you plan to take video in a dimly lit or at night this isn't exactly good for it. I would also have liked for it to come with a SD card expansion port to get more time on it especially for the holidays when I won't be by my computer and will probably be taking more than 60 minutes of video. The last thing that I wish it had as a feature would be still capture, however you can get some stills from the video itself but some do not look as good as you'd like. Other than that I would highly recommend this small portable digital camcorder, especially to those like me who has kids and would like to be able to get to a camcorder in a hurry and be able to upload them as soon as possible!Read full review
This is an easy, simple to use, mini video recorder! It can record up to one hour and take great MPEG videos at 640x480. The only disadvantage I can see is its lack of a light for dark, indoor, recording. However, the small size fits into any purse, pocket, or brief case. The battery is recharged via pop-up USB connector. I would get a USB extension cable for easier charge effort. Overall, I like it, and no moving parts or removable media.
