Overpriced and not even real authentic item try to say that The off-brand name of the case was the same thing as the name brand , but come on. If that's the case, why not upload the picture of the item you're selling instead. That's a sloppy seller in my opinion... I bought this because I had pawned my original Nano off, and really missed it! The user interface is great. One of the reasons I bought it was because my newer Nano's screen light stopped working. I guess you could say they don't make 'em like they used to! The control buttons have tactile feedback and the iPod also has the option for sound feedback as you make song selections and volume adjustments. I personally think this was the best balance between old-school ruggedness, storage space, functionality, and modern sleekness in the iPod series of products. Having the manual buttons is just really nice, and the color options are way cooler than the newer models.I bought this because I had pawned my original Nano off, and really missed it! Cool but quirky.
Let me first say that this is roughly my fifth iPod. The two types of iPods I've owned before were the: -4th 20Gb Gen black and white (Super Reliable, should have never sold it on ebay) -6th 80Gb Gen iPod classic (Terribly unreliable product, Firmware is extremely buggy, the hard drive has a high affinity for failure, bought the nano after my second one broke all in the course of less than a year and a half time! Just the worst iPod apple has ever produced) Now there's the Nano. This falls somewhere in between. I love the fact that it is a solid state drive so there's no room for hard drive failure. I also love the amazingly small size and the image quality of the screen, fantastic! 16Gb is good for carrying the music you like and encourages you to switch out music from your library so ... Let me first say that this is roughly my fifth iPod. With that being said however, like the title says this thing has certain "quirks" or rather "features" that Apple always feels the need to put in their products. Apple always tries to make these "features" with a certain mindset. This mindset being to add things that are cool but not really USEFUL at all and occasionally hindering. 1st: Charging: Apple does not include a charger with this iPod. You must plug this into a USB 2.0 port on your computer if you want to charge it unless you buy the accessory charger for more money, this is annoying but not annoying enough to spend the money on the charger. Also don't plan on charging it with your Bose sound dock or old iPod charger, it is not compatible. (this is rated 5Volts, 1Amp) theres too much power in the standard charger. 2nd: Cover Flow: Apple includes an accelerometer in this iPod, meaning you turn it on its side and it will display all your album artwork. This is cool for about 5 minutes and then when you put it in your coat pocket and plan on skipping some songs (hold button is not on) it is usually laying on its side and therefore you can't skip songs or turn the volume up without taking it out of your coat pocket and turning it right side up because its in cover flow mode. 3rd: "Shuffle Shake" : This means you physically shake the iPod and it will turn on shuffle and mix up your songs. I will give Apple credit on this one and say that its not overly sensitive so its not constantly going off. However, sometimes I turn the iPod off and throw it on my bed. The impact from landing on my soft bed will cause the iPod to turn back on and shuffle through songs. It will play for hours without my knowledge and drain the battery. 4th: Battery Life: Allegedly you can play this iPod for 24 hours on one full charge. Realistically that is not the case. The iPod screen turns off after a few minutes of inactivity to save battery power (does not display time like classic). However being in my coat pocket with hold off it is constantly switching to cover flow mode so the player doesn't always go to this low power state. Also, I have a decent attention span but after a few songs on an artist I usually change over to another artist also causing it to not reach low power state. This makes the battery drain much faster, more like 6-8 hours of battery life if that. That's not bad but don't be fooled by Apple's claim. Unless you plan on listening to all your songs through without skipping some. Overall, I recommend this iPod as it seems to be Apple's best music player currently but, it is far from perfect. I do enjoy it but I want to be honest.

This nano is very nice. I bought the 16gb version in metallic blue to replace my broken Ipod touch which was also very nice and I decided to buy it because of the updated body, bigger screen and more below. Pros: Bigger screen-noticeably better lit and better color. Nice metallic coloring Excellent built in video camera Nice new features such as microphone Cons: Still has very sharp corns Audio quality could be better EQ's are terrible Apple earphones are still bad. Overall I highly reccomend you buy this ipod. Its new pros overcome its cons and it is one heck of a player. Please vote yes for helpfulness-I appreciate it!This nano is very nice. Review for Ipod Nano purchase
I was attracted to purchasing the Nano because of it's uniquemess. It's extremely small, very powerful and full of interesting features. I paricularly like the video recording capabililty. Owning it now however, I have found that the screen size is really too small to be practical in the video function. Nonetheless, it is a techies dream. I'm still learning the capabilities it has. My future plan is to get another Ipod... one of the bigger ones... with a bigger screen. I had one just like it except mine was pink. I love everything about it. It is an awesome music holder and player. Love that it had to make playlist and the sleek look and feel to it. Its not bulky and fits almost anywhere. The size is perfect for carrying anywhere for instance like in your pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan. Mostly depends on how long you use it. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to hear music and wants something nice, neat and easy to carry:]I had one just like it except mine was pink. I love everything about it.
