Howdy fellow Gamers, usually I only comment on great games. If I don't have something good to say - often its best not to say it. Where a lot of people see right and wrong I see preference and so by being brutally honest on some things would be like raining on someones parade who really enjoys the game. But this is one I have to throw my nickel at. Am not a seller of this game though I do carry a range of other super titles. AM a fan of the Madden series though! Football Team God Mode on XBOX is a rewarding pastime of mine. So when 2006 came out and started checking it out, it was about a minute before the polish came off. Came right off. There is a couple QB and player operational enhancements but otherwise if I throw in 2005 I can't tell the difference. It IS an excellent game but I may choke on these words - maybe waiting for 2007 is best unless you are going Tourney or something. Nope, didn't choke. The Madden is a super game but 2006 seems like an inadvertent repackaging that commands a steep price by comparison. Perhaps there is a lot of Bonus downloadable content online that justifies the trade off in the producing teams minds. However when people buy the game they want the goods right out of box or its like getting a toy for Christmas without batteries. Again, super game, but giving it an Average rating because it is almost the same thing as 2005 in my estimate. In 2007 I would like More Cities Added, More and Better Logos, more diverse default player face generation, Cheerleaders with Create-A-Cheerleader, Create-A-Coach, more Stadium Options like wallpapers and layouts, then the slow moving walk of the players need changed to stop them from looking like SleeStaks from Land of the Lost, the players need at least an nth of a limp in the wrist when they jog off the field - it looks plain wierd. LOL though it is fun to see, a further good fix would be to have players not rubbing their leg when they have a head injury, etc. Before going should mention other improvements I DID notice. The game play chatter is super smarter! The QB vision is a smart enhancement. Players collisions are noticeably improved. Super Game, not enough bang for the buck in the new 2006 edition. Madden - You Da Man. In 2008 we want combined College and Pro with combination Sim 2 and Need For Speed integration. I want to send my star Quarterback on a street race after leaving a Cheerleaders house! (lol, jk good times). Can't wait until 2007 and have the extra cash? Buy This Game! It is almost worth the money. SSSIXXXRead full review

Madden is, without arguement, the best licenced NFL game available. That's because EA bought the exclusive rights to the NFL licence, so unless you can stand playing a football game without real teams and players, Madden is and will be your only option. Fortunately, it's an outstanding game with great graphics and tight gameplay, although the soundtrack is horrible. Madden is the ultimate one-on-one video game experience and it continues to improve with every installment.
its really fun but in a way its not the best if you dont have a xbox then the intrenet connection isnt the best. also to mention the graphics arent the brightest atleast for me!!! iv seen better ! but overall its a great game to play
