Convienient to use, but has poor beam quality.
This is a strong (5mw) laser pointer. The price is very good and it arrived quickly after I ordered it. When it arrived, it was below freezing outside and still produced a bright light. However, it is not well focused. The beam spreads out into a broad oval shape. This makes it hard to use as a star pointer for astronomy, which is what I ordered it for.

Excellent laser for the price
Works great right out of the box. Made of pretty decent machined metal. My only issue was the battery it worked fine when I first got it but when I put it on the charger it didn’t seem to work. Then I put a different 18650 battery in and the laser worked fine. So maybe just a bad battery (4 stars because of the battery)

Super powerful, but the tip broke
I really like the laser pointer, but when it arrived, the tip was separated. I stuck it back together, and it worked, although blurry. Then after that, the little glass inside the tip broke off so now it is useless. But the laser itself is still good and very powerful.
