Very poor tracking system. Must have app open and be near the product for it to locate on map.
Purchased these thinking all I had to do was attach them to a tool/ladder/box and would be able to track them anywhere. After getting them and installing them, I download the app and find out that the app must be open and running for the Tick to locate. I guess it only works with a select few devices
Purchased 2 of these to help track some lawn equipment. After receiving the devices, I tried to download the app on my Samsung phone...DEVICE NOT SUPPORTED. Ok, so I tried to load it to my desktop...DEVICE NOT SUPPORTED. I even tried downloading it to 2 different tablets and guess what?...DEVICE NOT SUPPORTED. Before making the purchase, you may want to be sure that the app will work with your device. I wish I had checked before making my purchase. Awesome but....
These are great for inventory management as long as the employee that checks-out a specific tool has the one-key app installed and has a WiFi connection. Now You can walk a job site and find tools or equipment as long as you are within 100’ with your Bluetooth enabled phone or tablet. I feel that these ticks are a little expensive.

I like the concept, but in order for this to work, more people need to download and run the milwaukee one key app. I attached a tick to a couple of cars, set them as "missing", and drove from stockton to San Francisco during rush hour, NO HITS. They need to advertise this product. I work in construction and most of the people I know have never heard of one key. Maybe they should have partnered with tile or tracker. This is a blue tooth transmitter not gps..will only give signal if u or someone with app passes within 100 ft of it..if ur stuff is stolen find someones shoulder to cry on cause this isn't going to help most likely..
