Available on DVD, "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" is basically a children's comedy, but many adults enjoy it as well. The cast of characters from this animated film includes a giraffe, hippo, lion, and zebra. They decide to leave the island they were stranded on at the end of the first movie. Boarding a plane built by the penguins from the original movie. The group crash lands in Africa. This is where they meet Alex's zebra parents and a group of American tourists that have been stranded. The support characters are mostly lemurs and penguins. The group of four is helped out by some new cast members and manages to find their way to a wild life preserve. The "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" animated film stars the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, and David Schwimmer. This DVD has a sensormatic widescreen format. Even though "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" is animated, it is rated PG for some mild violence and odd humor.

Halarious Great Sequel to the First!
People around me know that I am not a great fan of sequels; on account of it often falling short of the original. In this case it seems that it has done a lot better than the first. The improvements were noticeable and I'm quite sure a lot of you will enjoy. 4/5 There are trilogies that I have purchase only the ones I enjoyed (i.e. God Father I & II only and Hell boy II). This is going to be on my purchase list of leaving the original and buying the sequel. Yes folks, it's that much better..People around me know that I am not a great fan of sequels; on account of it often falling short of the original. Lived Up To The First
I was really excited about seeing the sequel to Madagascar, because I really loved the first, and this looked just as good, and in my opinion it almost was. Both of them are excellent films and this just made me appreciate the first more. When it started up I was immediately sucked in, and I never became uninterested and it never stopped entertaining, because they did an excellent job at keeping your attention. There were some parts in the movie where I felt as if they tried too hard to please the audience and then others it got a little dumb and boring, but overall I laughed I almost cried and when it was over I wanted to watch it again.
