Expensive premium item, arrived defective and useless. Asked seller to refund or send a replacement, seller refused and said eBay should be responsible for handling it. The money was paid to the seller, not eBay, and responsibility to stand by the sale and make sure all is correct is also on the seller, not eBay. It's a matter of own honor, prestige and reputation as a business person, something this seller is yet to learn.

Please, let us clarify. We did NOT refuse to send a refund; we immediately asked the buyer to open a return request when buyer contacted us. They did, and ebay stepped in to notify us that since this transaction used the global shipping program, we did not need to refund the buyer because ebay would. We were instructed to take no further action, and the return was closed. We provided this info to the buyer, but they weren't satifisfied, so we asked them to contact ebay directly.

Multiple emails, rebuttals, explanations later but still one basic thing is missing, the first and most important thing that should be offered -- an APOLOGY for wasting someone's time, money and effort.
