Money well spent
I was very pleased with the weight. The headgear adjusts well and very comfortable. It tilts and locks into place securely while you are welding. I have a large head and face and while the helmet is compact it does not feel small. The viewing area is huge. Color comes through well and the lens is very responsive to your welding arc. The large curved protective lens is held in with locking tabs that are secured inside the helmet so don't try to just pry them out. I like the replacement protective shields and extra battery. The bag is thin but will do fine to keep dust and dirt off the helmet while storing. I am very excited to see how the long term durability will unfold. This one costs way less than models of the same type. Very clear and is easy to see to get started and weld. Comes with extra lenses and bag to store it in. Clear view to the sides. I do recommend it.

I was really skeptical of this being not a big name brand, I thought for sure it would be glitchy or the headband would be weird and shotty. Absolutely the finest helmet
WOW....this is an awesome helmet. In fact, it is so good that I bought a second one so that anyone looking over my shoulder can have the same great view. I'd give this lid 10 stars if I could. If you do more than the occasional weld project then treat yourself.

Evaluating the welding helmet
I generally have trouble seeing when mig welding but this helmet works well for me. I use a Miller at work but this new one has better visibility. As I have welded for many years my vision has gotten worse. This helmet is very helpful
