From the description it said ‘used with notes’ When it arrived the cover showed it age but when I opened it up the backside of the covers were full of notes. These were note a a canoe project being built. I was amazed at the notes and drawing these people did. It added to the book itself. Someone or somebodies used the book to build a canoe and that’s awesome. So happy I got this copy with the history of a build in it. Hope I’ll be able to build a canoe someday if not I have this great book that helped at least one person to build.

Superb book, loaded with high quality new and vintage pictures, drawings. This is THE book if you want to learn how to make a wood strip canoe. I have made several and have a number of books on the subject. This book is the best by far. Easy to understand, well organized, by an author who knows the subject inside and out.
This book is recommended in many articles and the value from e-bay seller was outstanding and the information contained will be very valuable to me when I build my Cedar Strip Canoe.
