About this product

Product Information

Take your photography to the next level with this roll of Kodak Ektar 100 35mm Color Print film. This roll of Kodak Ektar contains 36 exposures of color negative film designed specifically for professional quality photo applications. Even if you're not a professional photographer, you can still easily end up with professional quality prints using this low ISO film. This roll of 35mm Kodak Ektar film helps even amateur photographers to produce some truly world-class landscape and still photos. The film has an extremely fine grain and incredibly high levels of color saturation, which leads to photos that have an amazing level of detail. As Kodak Ektar is negative film, the roll needs to be developed and scanned in a professional photo lab. You can also develop the prints in your own darkroom should you happen to have one. Either way, extra care must be taken when scanning the negatives, as the skill of the person doing the scanning plays a major role in how the resulting prints look. This is especially important when shooting pictures of Caucasian people, as the high color saturation tends to make them look pink if not done properly. Still, for still photos and landscapes, the level of shadow detail and color saturation combine to create images that jump straight off the paper. Preferred by many professional photographers as an alternative to digital cameras, Kodak Ektar color negative film is designed for shooting at lower speed. This allows you to adjust the exposure length to create unique effects. Even if you shoot with an underexposure, you'll still see richly saturated colors. Still, this type of Kodak Ektar is mostly designed for shooting during daytime lighting conditions. Kodak Ektar 100 35mm film should work with virtually all 35mm cameras and a huge range of lenses, allowing you the freedom to create unique images that fully reflect your personality and own favored method of shooting. The film features Kodak VISION Film technology and has micro-structure optimized T-Grain emulsions to provide a high level of detail. The film's fine grain allows for ultra-rich colors, incredible fine details, and an amazing level of sharpness. Kodak Ektar film offers an amazing enlargement capability from the 35mm negative, making it the ideal choice for larger format prints. The results really do speak for themselves, as you can see from the level of detail, color, and clarity that you experience when shooting on Kodak Ektar film. This ISO 100 speed Kodak Ektar film produces excellent landscape photos and still shots, and is the film of choice for many photography experts across the globe. Even if you're a complete amateur, the results you get with this amazing color negative film will have your friends continuously complementing you on your newfound photography skills.

Best color film made . Extremely fine grain rich color

If you use film for its getter and detail you can't beat Kodak's Ektar 100! Constantly beats my 24 meg digital. On well exposed negatives I can get 16x20 prints of fine quality. I simply over expose each negative by 1/2 stop which tightens up the dye clouds and enriches color too.

  • The finest film on the market!

I bought this product on eBay due to the fact my local Camera Shop no longer stocks it. I tried other types of film but my Camera simply performs best with Kodak Ektar (even the manufacturer suggested I use this film). It is a superior quality film that can easily rival all others. Hopefully, this type of film will be available for years to come as I plan on using it more often rather than taking digital pictures.

  • Great Pictures

I have using Ektar 100 for about 2 years. The results have always been fantastic. I have a very good 35mm camera and a very good DSLR. I have compared the results from both. Hands down the film results are much better that the digital photos that I have shot. For example, I put both cameras on a tripod, one after the other, and took the same photo. Compared side by side the Ektar results are clearer, more colorful, and of better quality. While I don't consider this a downside the only difference is with film the result is not immediate. But I am willing to wait. I currently have 4 more roll that I will use during the upcoming Christmas holidays.
