    Soundstream tarnatula amplifier

    I just got my amp soundstream tarnatula 4000 watt 2000 watt rms @ 1 ohm I bought this to power a soundstream 15 inch dual 2 ohm voice coil sub 1300 watt rms I figured the amp would power it a little better than it does it sounds great dont get me wrong but honestly was hoping it was a little more powerful I have a mtx thunder elite 7804 and running @ 4 ohms is only 800 watts rms and it definitely makes my 15 inch sub hit way harder and my soundstream amp is stable down to 1 ohm and says it has a higher power output I always thought that the lower the ohm the more bass but my but in this casei don't know I like soundstream products I've bought several amplifiers over the years but any so far it has good sound

    Plenty of power

    I bought it to power my sundown sa10 d2, a 750 rms sub at 1 ohm and it powers it really good got plenty of power. sound quality is great also. don't know how long it will last, it supposed to last long time since i'm giving it only 750 watts while its got 1800 watts rms on dyno. so I hope everything wil be good.

    Great sound short lived.

    These amps have a tendency to catch fire whether you upgrade your electrical or not. I have 320 amp alt, big 3, 2 AGM batteries 65ah and 92ah. The quality isn’t there anymore. Soundstream amps aren’t what they once were. Save yourself some money and get a better quality product. 2 of these have blew within an hour and the other in 20 mins. However, during the time it did work it worked fantastic, clean sound, hard hitting bass and that’s why it was short lived.

    Very Powerful for the money

    I bought this to run a Orion HCCA 10.2 and it slams with this thing powering it. Very nice quality amp for the money
