The seller did offer me a full refund and I can keep the batteries. I feel like this would be dishonest to myself to be bribed with a “full refund if I change my feedback to a positive one” since the batteries were falsely shown as Ryobi brand and not a generic and the 8ah batteries I bought do not last as long as the Ryobi 4ah batteries I own.

better features half the price of Brand name 18v 6.0 ah Ryobi replacement
this battery works as well as the Brand one (of which I have) . The cost is almost half the price and I find it holds the charge as long or longer. I would recommend this replacement type of battery over the more costly Ryobi brand.

3.0 Ah not 4.0 Ah, DON'T BUY. always go with the genuine instead!!!
This is a 3.0Ah battery since the 18650 cells are 1500mah, not the advertised 4.0Ah. In order to be 4.0Ah the 18650 cells need to be 2000mah. I just bought this to see the quality of aftermarket batteries for the One+ system. Opening up the battery I find a decent sized circuit board for showing the power left when the button is pushed and decently thick wires to conduct the power needed by your tools. 10x 18650 1500mah cells in a 2+2+2+2+2 battery configuration where "2" is two cells in parallel and the "+" is each "2" set in series. Each "2" cells in parallel means 3.6v @ 3.0Ah. Adding 5 x "2" cells in series means 18v @ 3.0Ah. It's not a bad battery. In fact the quality looks good, but given the price of genuine Ryobi 4.0Ah batteries at Home Depot, 2 batteries for $80 ($40 a piece), ... Ryobi string trimmer battery
The battery works well.....in my experience the Rubio products are hard on batteries. This will be the third battery for a 5 yr old string trimmer.....The original lasted only a year and was unacceptable. The replacement battery lasted 2 yrs....So far the battery is working fine but I expect it to outlast the other batteries.

Charged fine and behaves better than old battery in charger.
Came at red level on the lights and took some time to charge all the way indicating high capacity. An overnight charge placed it in green and after sitting a week, it's still green both on pack and on charger. The old battery would blink bad on charger after a couple days even though the voltage still seemed good. I haven't used it in heavy usage yet, but it ran the 5" circular saw great.
