You get what you pay for. This seller did a very good job by offering an inexpensive TV Mount and shipping it fast. That being said its very light duty. Yes it will hold a 42" TV but its springy. I bought this for a second hand TV for my shop so It does not have to be perfect but I would definitely not skimp if you are buying one for your new $1000 flat screen in the man cave. Seller gets five stars for the job they did and buyer gets one star for being cheap and cutting corners.
