It should do the job it's supposed to do
The most important features of this device are its filters. They do the bulk of the work. The item has a pleasant appearance, and it is quiet, but I discovered by taking it apart that there really isn't much to it. It's pretty much plastic, a blower, and four filters. There is an electronic control unit for on/off, speed control, and different settings, but there is hardly enough to the machine to feel the quality of the construction warrants the relatively high price. On a positive note, it is "Energy Star" rated, so it should use electricity, it is relatively quiet, and it seems to work. On the negative side, I do not understand why they made three compartments for three, identical filters installed side by side behind a carbon filter. Why didn't they just make one, lone, main ... The Honeywell HPA 300 Air Purifier
I bought this Honeywell HPA 300 to replace our old HPA 200 that died. We live and travel in our motorhome with our three cats. The Honeywell air purifier has always done a good job in sucking cat hair out the air. When the old purifier stopped working I went with the larger unit and have been pleased with it’s performance.

Quality product that is awesome at air purifying! Some will say the replacement filters are expensive and they are, but you can find deals to help enjoy clean air. You should see how much are in the filters. That would be in the air you breathe!

You never know what to expect when buying an open box product, but other than the box obviously being resealed, the one I received came with original packaging and documentation that had not been altered in any way. It was just like new. Already having one to compare to I can say it's nice and quiet and performs just like a new unit should. After upgrading from the HPA100 I am able to run the HPA300 at a lower setting which is a significant reduction in noise level with the same great effectiveness. (Compared to the HPA100) It works great to keep the vaping cloud haze level down in my home office while not having to deal with the noise. So far so good
I bought 2 of these a couple of weeks ago. So far they have been work great. Quiet and easy to use, the turbo more is remarkable, moves so much air my ceiling fan starts to revolve. I gave it a 4 star rating only because I haven't used it enough to see how well it controls the dust.
