Point and shoot results in great pictures !
Great camera for a first time user, got it because my phone did not provide me with many quailty pictures. Great zoom, and very clear. Many adjustments, but just taking pics in auto mode and or flash is simply amazing. Battery life is a great due to no GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. running in the background. Nikon has a great website for uploading your pics. Excellent camera
Very please with the performance and user Friendly set up this camera has. Pros: very light , very attractive, excellent image quality, great video. Cons: lack of focus options, this can be a good or bad thing. The battery section is 4 (AA) batteries. So when it dies. Make sure to have an extra set o batteries.

Great compact camera with a terriric zoom lens!
I purchased this Nikon L830 to replace one that I dropped and broke off the battery cover. I liked it so much, with its excellent photo skills that I just had to have another. It really is a terrific compact camera with an amazing zoom lens. And it's very light making it easy to carry.

Great camera for the money!
This is a great quality camera for the money. The screen is large enough to get good detail before releasing the shutter and the zoom range is great. It allows close-up shooting at ground level because of the ability to tilt the viewing screen. On the down side, it has a pause before the shutter clicks and the screen is difficult to view in bright light. Because there is no eye-level finder and the shutter doesn't fire immediately, this is not the same as a digital SLR, but it is an exceptional tool as a primary camera for the casual shooter or a great back-up camera for your digital SLR. I especially like it because it is light and my back will not put up with two SLRs and an array of heavy lenses. Bottom line is that it's a great camera for the money@!This is a great quality camera for the money. A great camera for the money!
This is a great camera. I'm disabled and can basically only use one hand. This camera is very easy for me to use. I can easily make adjustments while holding the camera. It takes wonderful pictures. It's the best camera I have ever owned. I've always wanted a Nikon camera but never could afford one before now. This one has lots of zoom capability which is important to me as I take pets and wildlife pictures. It's much better that the HP and Fuji cameras I had previously to this one.This is a great camera.
