These shoes have a breathable mesh top - great for summer, not for cold or rainy days. I don't like tying laces and prefer slip ons. These are a cross over. I can just loosen or pull the cord laces as well as use the velcro on the back. Pay attention to the sizing chart - the size runs short compared to my Nike shoes. I bought 0.5 bigger size. The shoe doesn’t have a continuous body - the back is a separate piece. These are very comfortable walking shoes. Fast shipping - received in 2 days!
