This amp is, for all intents and purposes, two Adcom GFA 535 II Ls in one box. Changes from the legendary GFA 535 original are pretty minimal, triple cascade darlington outputs versus double in the original, and one pair of channels in bridgeable to 1 x 200 watts into 8 ohms. Like the original 535 it'a 60 watts into 8 ohms, but only 90 into 4 ohms (the original was 100 watts in 4 ohms) Something to VERY strongly consider is using this amp to BI-AMP from main speakers where the Mids/Tweeters get their own amp and the woofer(s) also get their own amp - this setup will typically yield better sound than even a much larger 2 channel amp. All and all, a well made, very musical amp at a very decent price.

Like all Nelson Pass Designed Adcom's. A great, clean sounding, class A amplifier. Versitile with 2 channels being bridgeable for running a single center channel or for running a small 8Ω subwoofer with the other channels running the mains on a simple 2.1 setup. The 2535 is also of very good value if you like Adcom's. Much cheaper typically to buy a single 2535 over a pair of 535MkII and the 2535 has all the MkII upgrades even though it was never labeled as a MkII.

I needed an inexpensive amp for a stereo set up, the Adcom amps have always had good reviews so I went with it, works fine for the cabin.
