Svelte television workout guru Jillian Michaels returns to the world of games with new exercises, new workout modes, new locations, and new audio commentary in Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2010. Players travel to an island in the Pacific, where they'll work on 16 core exercises designed to increase muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance. The Wii Balance Board can be used for most of the exercises, and gamers receive feedback and motivation from Michaels as they perform swing kicks, jumping jacks, push-ups, side lunges, and more. Motion controls have been recalibrated to more accurately track user movements, while the new "Resolutions" mode lets players customize a workout schedule up to six month in advance. Multiple difficulty levels are designed to offer a challenge to people of all fitness levels, and the game aims to avoid injuries and keep players healthy with warm-up and cool-down exercises, and diet and exercise tips.

    Not what I expected.

    This wasn't quite like I thought it would be. Its is kind of difficult to set goals and resolutions and takes a while to figure out a routine. Some of the exercises are difficult to do and make the Wii respond with your movements. Jillian goes quite fast on the oblique crunches and its hard lie on the floor and have the sensor bar read your movements if its on top of the tv. Push ups on the balance board are also difficult because you have to keep both hands on it and it seems uncomfortable to have your arms that close together. Jillian is also her hard core self and will yell at you if you don't finish out each exercise to the fullest. You are rated with a point system on how many reps you do and if they are 'red'- bad, 'yellow'- ok, or 'green'- good. Its a better workout than whats ...

    Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2010

    I bought the Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2010 for Wii and it is great!!! I have already lost 9 pounds.I bought it because I wanted to loose weight and exercise in the privacy of my home. It is not only a good way to get in shape, but it is so much fun. You can choose the routines that are right for you. You can choose your own music to workout to. There are real life like scenic views on an island where you exercise. It actually takes my mind off of the stress of trying to work out, and makes me feel as though I am actually on a island with my personal trainer, and having fun while getting fit. Jillian also interacts with you to tell you if you are doing things correctly. You will also be able to keep up with your calorie intake. There are plenty of health tips that are given to ...

    Good workout!

    This is a really good exercise disc. It's pretty easy to follow, although it would have been nice to have the countdown before starting that other Wii games have. Overall, it provides a really good workout and should make a difference, if done consistently.

    Jillians Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2010

    I feel that anyone who wants to get in shape fast would benefit from this game and it is able to be accomplished in your own home which is awesome especially if you feel embarassed going to a gym in front of people to work out. I feel this game is just like the T.V. show that Jillian has with Bob caled the Biggest Loser and makes you work just as hard as the contestants do on the show.

    Great Home Workout Plan

    I like that this dvd has a variety of workout options and it lets you start as a beginner and work your way up. I dislike that it has the same sarcasm that Jillian displays on The Biggest Loser show, but perhaps that is why some people would buy it. Over all I think it's a great starter workout plan for those that are unable to get to the gym or simply want to workout at home. I bought this because I have grown terribly bored with Wii Fit and it was a great price.
