I've used both of my WET54G bridges and they both work very well.
I purchased this device to bridge and restart a wired network in a second house I own. It communicates with my wireless network on the closer side of the house. I live in a 'network crowded' town and need to limit the wireless due to interference with neighboring networks. This is the least expensive bridge I can find. It plugs into a network wired hub where it branches out to several other RJ-45 wired devices. I like the transparent communications between houses where I can stream video. Even though it only does 'G' band at 54Mbps, it is more than adequate for my needs. This link is important enough that I keep a cloned spare of this unit sitting nearby. It takes a hit on reliability in that it goes 'out of service' on some occasions. The best I can guess is that someone nearby ... This is a common occurrence with all my wireless, and is the reason I'm stringing RJ-45 cable all over the place. I will soon also have 'N' band wireless as the intention is to have laptops on 'N' and this link as the only thing left on the 'G' band. It should work out well that way. The 'N' band will have a different network name and password. There really are no other Network bridges to compare this to as I see it as a one-of-a-kind niche need.

A good product but the setup software is not good.
No complaints about the operation of the WET54g. The setup was a little difficult. The software with the device is almost useless. It had to be setup by using the web interface. The important part is it works and it took me about a half an hour to get it running.

Works with my LG Blu-ray player
Since my Blu-ray DVD player doesn't have built in Wi-fi, I purchased this router so that I could hook up to my network. I'm now able to watch Netflix via my DVD player. Installation was quick and easy.

Do yourself a favor.....
Do yourself a favor and buy someone else's wireless bridge. Setup instructions both in writing and on the website are very poorly written, Setup CD will not run on windows 10. Consider this a piece of garbage and move onto a more reliable product.
