Nice wire tap
Works great...very simple to install. Installed on powered mirror of 2015 GMC Sierra. The only thing I would like to see different is maybe a couple inches longer so it would give more range on where to mount my radar detector. Overall very happy with it. Long road trip after install and didn't have any issues with it coming loose etc.

This is a great item, but the pins are not as small as described. I have an Infiniti 2014 Q60 (I believe most Nissan/Infiniti vehicles from this year use the same mirror connectors), and I had to pop the connector open to get the pins to fit. So called real "nano connectors" will slide in without opening the power connector for the mirror. Other than that, the item works PERFECTLY with my Passport Escort Detector.This is a great item, but the pins are not as small as described. Bad RJ11 connector. Will not function.
Doesn’t work unless I manually hold the connector into the radar detector just so. Obviously I can’t do that and drive. Plus knowing this even if it stayed on more than 5 seconds I’d be afraid any bump would loose connection and turn off the detector. On the plus side it arrived quick. Shame it’s non functional.

The spades or pins are hollow
During my installation and after I inserted the positive pin in its proper place and just prior to inserting the negative pin, the positive pin broke. It appears they are hollow. I’ve installed two previous mirror taps and never had this happen. Probably won’t get a refund or replacement, but felt this was important to pass along.
