This item is EXACTLY as pictured. I purchased it for gifts. The plastic material it is made from has NO flexibility and I had assumed otherwise. The cup holder will hold a soft-sided cup (like paper or foam), but I wanted it for a hard-sided travel mug with a handle. After making some adjustments to it, it will be suitable for what I can use. I will also have to use something soft and protective in the phone holder so it doesn't scratch my phone screen. It will be okay, just not great.
