It's the image, sweetheart!
In my book, when I'm buying a display related equipment, image quality is everything and this Toshiba DVD recorder delivers that in spades. To be more specific, I use this as the "TBC pass-through" part of a workflow that converts circa late 90's analog tapes to the digital realm. For TBC function, this unit works great. My tapes are mostly in good shape though so maybe it doesn't have to try that hard.
