Beware. This guy is a serious headache to work with. Seller stated many stories/excuses over the last 13 days. He says lost package is "not my problem." He claims he doesn't live in FL but uses a FL address, he admits he stocks nothing. This package right now is in AZ, no where near me or his vendor. Wrong label used? He uses deceptive practices, he's completely unaccountable. See attached, I cannot reason with him. Claim filed. Buyer Beware!

A great lens for the price.

I purchased this lens to use with my Nikon D3200. I've used it for a couple days now and have been very pleased with it. At first the motor was a little noisy, but it soon got quieter. The auto focus works well with my camera. It doesn't focus as fast as a Nikon lens does, but it didn't cost as much either. It has excellent clarity through its entire range. It seems well built also. Over all I think it's an excellent value.

Not exactly what I was expecting

It's a great lens, but not what I had hoped for. It requires me to be further away from my subject and isn't as close up as I had hoped. I should have went with a smaller macro. It's a great lens. The fault was my own.

  • A decent cheap AF telephoto lens.

I got this much cheaper than retail price. I wanted a lens to get me closer to animals at the zoo or people playing sports. It serves the purpose well, given the price point. Like most lower end zoom lenses, it's a compromise. It is soft wide open and prone to CA wide or long. The build quality of the lens is great. Probably nicer than anything made by Nikon or Sigma for the same price point. AF is slow, just like other lenses in this pricerange. You have to hold still when using it if you're not using a mono/tripod since it does not have image stabilization. I've used both the cheaper version of Tamron's 70-300 and the Di model which I bought on ebay. The cheaper version performs almost identically and has vibrant color delivery. The only downside of the cheaper model is ...

  • Christmas Gift for Daughter

She has 3 children very active in Little League baseball, & Basket Ball! My son who is a camera pro, who has shot senior pics, weddings, and sporting events, recommended this lens to me for her needs and photo desires. He has given her some pointers on how to use it and change to the proper settings, when needed. It takes BEAUTIFUL PICTURES! She is getting better with it every day she uses it. I would recommend it to a friend, and also the ebay supplier who sold it to me. They bent over backwards to get it to me in time for CHRISTMAS !!!

  • Good value

I'm not a great photographer (yet), so take this review with a grain of salt, but so far this lens seems great. The auto-focus works on my low end Nikon DSLR and the image looks pretty good. It's not great in low light, but for that you'd have to pay way more than this one cost. I'd say for a new photographer or someone who intends to only shoot during the full light of day, this is a good value.
