Cheap Kato
Kato is supposed to be the better standard in N scale. Not so. While the colorful F5 locomotive is solid and hums along; the four freight cars are cheap, too light and use spindly - fragile couplers. Kato has opted for volume production vs. quality and its pricey too! Dig deep.

This is one of the best starter sets in N scale you can get. It will show you everything you need to know to properly handle, install, and operate a N scale model train. It is Kato, well know for it´s quality, so it is rugged for it´s size, and with a decent level of detail. It is also ready for the install of a DCC decoder. The packing is colorful and friendly, and this train will perform very well. Definitely recommended as first N scale train, for both novice people in the hobby, or people from other scales, that want to have the taste of N scale.This is one of the best starter sets in N scale you can get.
