Harmonix adds to the roster of playable tracks for its hit music group simulator Rock Band, this time giving wannabe rock legends 20 tracks from the golden age of rock & roll. Rock Band Track Pack: Classic Rock is a fully functional version of Rock Band, meaning players who purchase the expansion can still play through "Solo," "Band," "Tour," "Quickplay," "Tug of War," and "Score Dual" modes, only now they can rock out to new (to the game) tracks from Boston, Jethro Tull, the Police, Steve Miller Band, and the Who, among many others. Xbox 360 gamers can also use the included download codes to import all of the new songs into their existing versions of Rock Band or Rock Band 2.

    totally worth it

    if you havent bought any of these songs and can find it for less than 20 bucks shipped get it. most of these songs are around 2 dollars a piece, so youd spend 40 downloadin em all. if your like me and just want a huge, eclectic mix of music, get it. its got alot of good stuff on it. the track packs are so cheap now that you get more music getting them this way than buying points and downloadin em one by one. make sure to get them new thow because once the export code is used, you gotta call EA to get a new one..

    Classic ... mix?

    Classic Rock doesn't seem to be appropriately titled; really, only about 12 or 13 songs really appropriately fit the title. I like the Stone Roses' "Love Spreads," but it's hard to call that song a Classic Rock song. Same goes for Siouxie and the Banshees, or the two Dead Kennedys songs. Not really a mix of artists, either, with two songs from the Police, the Dead Kennedys, Boston, Rush, the Who and the Steve Miller Band. That said, it served the purpose of expanding my music library, which is all I really wanted it to do.
