Taking place in New Orleans, this show from 2004 offers all the excitement of the 311 concert experience, as the band works its way through an awesome selection of material from their back catalogue. But that's not all, because the camera crew manages to sneak backstage for a welcome look at the men behind the music, with a detailed profile of the 311 boys. The event was such a success that the mayor of New Orleans declared March 11th be christened "311 Day" in the city, and on this evidence it's not hard to see why!

The Best of 311 from 2004 and prior with Zero Lackluster Performances!
Why didn't I buy this sooner? I am always a little uncertain about 311 because I've seen some of their performances and to be frank, they weren't good, but this concert was excellent! Over 3 hours long and 60+ songs which is double of any concert I've heard of. This DVD has ALL the songs you possibly want 311 to play from 2004's "Love Song" to their first album. What I still find amazing is how I didn't feel like any of the songs were performed poorly. I think any 311 fan, even if you don't own all the albums (like me), should buy this DVD. P-Nut saves the day. Poor DVD sound setup.
For all the 311 hardcore fans i might sound heretic... but 60+ songs of 311 can be a little bit hard to listen. Very predictable arrangements and over used riffs makes this band one more of the neo-roots white boy band. Another thing is the parallel gig of P-Nut. This is one of the best bass players alive. If you enjoy a very fat bottom end with slappy riffs, pay attention to this guy.
