The manual was in mint condition, it looks like it has never been opened. RetroRuby is an awesome seller with excellent customer service. I had to contact her about the package after she shipped it, she was extremely punctual with replying to my messages. However USPS, sent it to California, even though the address said Virginia, so the package was a few days late. The delay was the fault of the USPS, the seller was by no means responsible.

    One of the best Maddens ever

    Back when EA actually tried, they made a super solid couple of football games for the “next gen” consoles. Head Coach 09 and Madden 09 actually had some effort put into them unlike the current iteration of the series. Graphics are surprisingly good for a game from 2008.

    TONS & TONS of new features; HOWEVER...

    Madden 09: EA has failed to fix or even address the issues that has plagued this franchise since forever. Examples include: unnecessary catch animations, glitchy game play that defies the laws of physics as well as an AI that resorts to cheating if you have reached a high caliper skill level. Pros: -Outstanding player models -very vivid field turf -More than 85 new features -Online league play -Ability to now be able to return short field goals. Cons: -85 Unnecessary new features -Problems from the past continues to persist in this game. -Online Multiplayer is still far from perfect; it needs improvements on its structure to properly deal away with quitters and cheaters. -No officials on the field or on the side lines.     Madden Collectors item.

    Who doesn't love Madden? So far I think it's great, it has a virtual trainer where you can hone your skills. The Madden test measures your skills set in the virtual trainer, then sets the difficulty according to how good or bad you are. The game also measures your skill level and adjusts the gameplay acordingly. The gameplay and graphics are improved compared to the '08 version. Smooth, realistic moves and sounds make you feel as if you are in the game or at least watching one. I have not tried the NFL coach yet, but it allows you to build your own plays and use them in the Madden game, which is it really cool. I would recommend this game to all Football and Madden game enthusiasts. You have to add this title to your collection.

    Best Madden Yet

    I'm a football fan so this is jus another great edition to my madden collection. Likes: Everything from graphics to the hands on playbook Has classic madden games from the past More control over players then in past maddens The player level test are great for those that are hall of famers like myself. Dislikes : Only 1 U have to hold L1 to throw the ball with quarterback and it gets a lil slow..but u get used to it as u move along. Madden 09 Must have for sports fanatics that love great sports games.

    Madden 09/Head Coach 09

    I more wanted the Head Coach then the Madden but the PS3 version is way more difficult to play than the Xbox 360 version, I Love getting into all the finer details about controlling a football team. But, and this goes beyond this Madden game and all others video games and makers! I've played video games for 35 years, I played PONG, Intellivision, the Atari 2600, Genesis, DreamCast PS1, 2, 3, and Xbox360. And what I don't get is that we have had so many upgrades in video game design and video output and realistic features, why is it that you allow the so called best players in the world call themselves that if to be the best, you have to manipulate the game and take away from the realness of it all, Glitchers I call them affectionately, they control the weekends online and the after hours ...
